A partial knee replacement is designed to replace only 1 side of the knee.  It is usually performed in younger patients who have posttraumatic injuries to the cartilage.  If you are a candidate, Dr. Sumko will not cut your muscle and it will be done outpatient as well.  This will be done and performed with the Mako robot.
